How to Add or Change User Codes on Paradox Magellan and Spectra SP Equipped with TM50/70 Touchscreen Keypads

Modifying User Codes on a Paradox Magellan/Spectra System with a TM50/70 Touch Screen Keypad

This guide is applicable for all Magellan and Spectra SP Systems equipped with TM50/70 touch screen keypads.
For systems fitted with a push button keypad, refer to this guide: Modifying User Codes on a Paradox Magellan/Spectra System with a Push Button Keypad

Add a User Code

  1. On the keypad, press the [Menu] button.
  2. Press [System Setup].
  3. Enter your [Master Code] or [Area Master Code].
  4. From the master programming menu, press [Users].

  5. Find an empty user slot you'd like to add a new user to, or an existing user you'd like to modify and press the  button.

    Please notify us before altering the MASTER, INSTALLER, or AREA MASTER user codes if your system is being monitored.
    This is to ensure that our service technicians can access your system as needed. Failure to do so may result in additional fees for resetting these codes.
  6. Enter user name and press the [Next] button
  7. Enter the new user code and press the [Save] button.
  8. Confirm the new user code by entering it a second time, then press [Save].
  9. You will have the option to learn in a remote at this point. To do so, press the button on the remote or press [Skip] to skip this step.
The new user is now valid.

Delete a User Code

  1. Follow steps 1-4 above to access the user programming menu.
  2. Select the user code you wish to delete.
  3. Press the  button to remove the user code.
The user code has now been deleted.
