You can add other people as Authorised Contacts to your account who can act on your behalf, including making changes that can attract a charge. The below table outlines each authority level and what that person can do.

Full AuthorityAdd new services, transfer ownership of services, disconnect a product or service, move services, modify a service, generate work requests, add and remove other authorised contacts (excluding third parties), pay bills and make billing and other enquiries, update billing account details, raise faults and complaints, transition existing services to NBN-capable services
Limited AuthorityDisconnect a product or service (if no charges apply), modify services (if no additional charges apply), pay bills and make billing and other enquiries, update billing account details, transition existing services to NBN-capable services (if no additional charges apply)
Billing AuthorityPay bills and make billing and other enquiries, update billing account details
To be added as a full authority contact, a person:
  1. Must be at least 18 years old
  2. Can only be appointed by the account holder
  3. Can access and view your whole account via online tools (MySecurity, Help Centre, Intelliguide)
To be added as a limited authority contact, a person:
  1. Must be at least 18 years old
  2. Can only be appointed by the account holder or a full authority contact listed on your account
  3. Can access and view your whole account via online tools (MySecurity, Help Centre, Intelliguide)
To be added as a billing authority contact, a person:
  1. Must be at least 18 years old
  2. Can only be appointed by the account holder or a full authority contact listed on your account
  3. Can access and view your whole account via online tools (MySecurity, Help Centre, Intelliguide)
We are required to verify account details for security purposes before we make changes or discuss account details with anyone.
When you call we will ask you to verify some details before we make changes on your account, such as Full name and Date of Birth or Voice Code.

To be added as a contact you will need to provide the persons:
  1. Full Name
  2. Date of Birth
  3. Email
  4. Phone Number
  5. A Voice Code (Can be the same as a Key Holder Voice Code, But must not be the site voice code or the same as another Authorised Contact's voice code)
