How to Set The Time & Date On Paradox Magellan/Spectra Alarm Systems

This article does not apply to systems with touchscreen keypads
Following a power loss a "timer fault" is a common issue with Paradox alarm systems. It's easy to set the time and date yourself by following these steps.
  1. Press the [⏻] key.
  2. Enter your [MASTER CODE].
  3. Press [TBL].
  4. Press [5].
  5. Enter time* in the [HH:MM] format.
  6. If HH = 13 or more, skip to step 7.
  7. Select time format. [1] = 24hr; [2] = AM; [3] = PM.
  8. Enter the date in the [YYYY/MM/DD] format.
  9. You have now set the time & date. Press [CLEAR] to exit.
*For SP4000 / SP65 systems, time must be entered in 24hr format. Omit step 6 (time format).
