Bosch Solutions 16 Alarm Systems - Adding and Deleting User Codes

This guide is for users familiar with Bosch Alarm Systems. It covers the process of adding and deleting user codes for the system. It is important to note that only the Master Code holder can add or delete other user codes, and that altering the system in anyway can result in irreversible damage and additional charges. It is also necessary to inform the monitoring company when changing, adding, or deleting user codes.
Adding User Codes
- Enter the Master Code followed by 1 and the # button (e.g. 2580 + 1 + #).
- Three beeps will sound and the STAY and AWAY indicators will flash.
- Enter the desired user code number (1-32) followed by the # button (e.g. 2# = User 2).
- Two beeps will sound and the selected user number will display on the codepad indicators.
- Enter the digits for the new code followed by the # button (e.g. 5768# for a code of 5768). Each user code can be up to 7 digits in length.
- Two beeps will sound and the STAY and AWAY indicators will turn off.
Repeat the process as needed to add or change additional user codes.
Deleting User Codes
- Enter the Master Code followed by 1 and the # button (e.g. 2580 + 1 + #).
- Three beeps will sound and the STAY and AWAY indicators will flash.
- Enter the user code number (1-34) to be deleted followed by the # button (e.g. 2# = User 2).
- Two beeps will sound and the selected user number will display on the codepad indicators.
- Press the * button to delete the selected user code.
- Two beeps will sound and the STAY and AWAY indicators will turn off.
Repeat the process as needed to delete additional user codes.
Remember to inform the monitoring company when changing, adding, or deleting user codes.
