How to Enable Heatmap on a Dahua NVR

Overview

Heatmaps can be a useful tool for visualizing the traffic and activity in a given area. In this guide, we will show you how to enable heatmap on a Dahua NVR (Network Video Recorder).

Prerequisites

  • A Dahua AI Recorder
  • AI Compatible Camera

Video Instructions

Step by Step Instructions

1. From the Main Menu, click on the AI tab.



2. Click on Parameters, then select Smart Plan.


3. Select the channel and click the Heat Map icon to enable it. The icon will turn blue when selected.


4. Click Apply to save the changes.


5. Next, click on Parameters, then select Heat Map.



6. Use the drop-down box to select the channel you want to use for the heatmap.

7. Click the toggle button to Enable the heatmap.

8. Click the Setting button to create a schedule for the heatmap.



8. Click Apply to save the changes.



Congratulations! You have now successfully enabled heatmap on your Dahua NVR.
