How to Add or Change User & Zone Labels to Pocket Secure 2.0

By default Pocket Secure uses the default labels for users and zones (User 001, Zone 001).
This article will show you how to add recognizable user & zone labels to your system via the Pocket Secure app. 

If your system was installed by Panorama Security this will be already setup for you by default

Adding or Changing User Names

Step 1

Open the Pocket Secure app and login to your location & tap the 3 dot menu in the top right hand corner.

Step 2

Tap "Rename Panel Users" 

Step 3

Tap the "+" and select the user number from the drop down, enter the user's name. Then click "Save".

From this page you can also edit and delete any previous names entered into Pocket Secure. 

Adding or Changing Zone Names

The process for changing zone names is exactly the same, except tap "Rename Zones" instead. 

Pocket Secure matches user & zone names based on the raw signals your alarm signal sends, therefore if you enter the incorrect user name to the user number it will still display the user's name you entered.
