How to Change the Batteries on your Paradox K37 Wireless Keypad

In this article, we'll guide you through the process of replacing the batteries in your Paradox K37 Keypad.+

Here's what you'll need:

  1. 2 AA batteries
  2. A Philips screwdriver

Here are the steps:

  1. Firmly grip the keypad and push it straight up to remove it from the backing plate.
  2. Turn the keypad over and locate the battery cover.

  3. Unscrew the cover to expose the batteries.

  4. Remove the old batteries, taking note of their orientation.
  5. Insert the new batteries, making sure the "+" and "-" are aligned correctly.

  6. Replace the battery cover and align the keypad with the backing plate. Slide down until you hear a click to ensure the keypad is securely fixed to the wall.
  7. Press [clear] and test the keypad by arming and disarming the system to ensure it's working.
After replacing the batteries, the trouble indicator light should not be lit. If it is, complete a full arming and disarming cycle on your system and check again.
If you're not confident in your ability to change the batteries yourself, contact our office to schedule a service call and we can do it for you.
